Hi, I need help for a build that will be use to browse on the net and office stuff. There will be no games played on that PC.

I'm looking for quality parts and would like room for upgrade in the future if possible. It is for my parents, they doesn't change PC often. Also, Win XP will be the OS but will probably update to Vista in the future.

I was thinking about building it around an Intel E6300.

Here's what I need

-cpu
-motherboard
-ram
-maybe a video card under 100$

The board should have integrated audio and lan of course but I think that's standard now. Also, I would like a good stable board (like an Asus) cause my last one was an ECS I had trouble with it to retain bios settings.

There will be no OC and I don't need SLI.

thanks

1) Why the video card? Integrated video is more than capable of browsing the net and doing office stuff. Save money and buy a mobo with integrated video.

2) Why the e6300? Again, for a basic computer, e6300 is overkill IMO. Just get a cheap AMD X2, or even a single core processor....

EDIT: I did a *quick* search through newegg and for your parents' need, would probably go with something like this

mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131014
maybe even something cheaper that doesn't require DDR2 RAM, just plain old DDR and only 2 slots....

processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103735
Like I said, I would consider single core also.
