I think this may be related to my PSU or the monitor hrtz but I don't know. I am trying to build this for my son to play WOW and guild wars. The computer screen goes black and this blue box that says either signal out of range or no signal comes on. I restart and some times it is fine for a couple minutes or half an hour. It always happens if I try to start guild wars when the graphics start. This motherboard has been a pain in the rear very picky. I would love some help. Here is what I used. I also noticed during boot that the monitor makes a soft clicking sound.
ASUS p5nsli
intel e4300 dual core
2 gig kingston ddr2 667 from QVL per ASUS
XFXGeforce 7600GT
Power up 450w atx psu
Thermal ? case
17"lcd princeton 1700 that we had

sounds like a monitor issue. try adjusting the refresh rate in windows.

I try to adjust in widows and their is only the option for 60HTZ but my princeton manual shows a range depending on resolution. Windows installed it as plug and play device. How can I change this. The princeton site said I don't need any drivers for it but they have some listed.
Thank you

I don't think this is a monitor/refresh issue, especially if this issue only occurs when you try to play guild wars or WoW. If it does, then it is most likely a driver issue. Make sure you have the latest nVidia motherboard chipset drivers as well as the latest nVidia video card drivers. You'll want to install the motherboard drivers first, then the video card drivers.

Thank you I will try the drivers. I went and purchased a new monitor today and I get the same problem. It kicks me out then the screen flashes the analog / digital message and the system reboots. The power light never goes out on the case. Could it be the video card? Could I try and hook up to the motherboard video support and see what happens?
Thanks

It happens any time not just while trying to open a game. Some times right after entering windows sometimes ten minutes later. It does seem to be happening closer together.

Has this video card been tested on another PC?
