Can't access google yet Norton 360 detecting no virus

I couldn't find the right section to post this in, but I'll try this one.

Basically I can't use "google.com" anymore on my laptop. I don't know what's happened to it, but it's just started last night. I can still browse pretty much any other site okay, just not google.com. Nor can I use the google search. I can still access Gmail though.

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit OS. I also have Norton 360 5.0, I just installed it a little over a month ago so its still good.

I'm assuming I must have clicked on some ad (trying to X out of it) and gotten a virus. The only thing is that Norton isn't detecting any infected file at all. I've tried multiple quick scans and FULL system scans today to no avail.

Again, seems like google is blocked from my computer. I've tried to access google from both the latest IE and Firefox 3.6, but I can't access google from either browser.

Is anyone experiencing the same thing or something similar? It's my fault for not being careful where I clicked, but any feedback would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!
