I am looking to build a new computer for college but I am under a tight budget. I am looking at buying a Sparkle GeForce 8600 GT 512 MB DDR2 SLI Ready PCI Express card or a MSI GeForce8600 GT 256 MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Video Card. Now which would be better to get the 512 DDR2 card or the 256 DDR3 card. The 512 card has a slower core clock speed. What sounds best for my next computer?

DDR3 is much better. 256 card may have less ram but the DDR3 card will play games much better because it processes quicker.
