  1. That's almost $1000 US, and looks a little high. What are the individual component prices?
  2. Well unfortuantly prices in the uk are much more than the us. the prices are as follows

    Dvd £18
    Graphics £105
    Ram £52
    Processor £64
    Os 53
    Hd £47
    PSU £48
    Case £36
    Mobo £38
    Headset £18

I was wondering if the psu was enough? But i really want a modular one and cant afford to spend any more.

    thanks 4 the help

  3. I presume gaming is the usage?
  4. gaming, dvd to mpeg 4 converting, basic office use and itunes/internet
  5. Looks like a good value build to me
  6. An 8800GTS 320MB 50$ more will give you 20-40% more performance.
  7. Well thanks for the replies. Im sorry but as i said my absolute max price is £500 and as i am only paying for a small amount of it (its for the family) i cant justify an 8800gts in a £500 pc without making significant losses else where. Unfortuantly again i cant spend the extra on power. However if there is a better psu for the same price or less then im all ears. Also i would prefere modular but its not an absolute must

    regards

  8. Also the cheapest 8800gts is £180 which is £75 ($150) more expencive
