Sorry about the caps, but it helps attract attention, I just got a Arctic freezer 7 and just started overclocking my e4300 Antec P180 system. Core Temp is showing it at 40-42c idle and going up to 52-54 load. Is that normal? or is there a way to lower that.
Judging from this image, is the temps reliable and is there anything I can do to lower them.
TheLaughingMan, you can find answer by reading the Stickies. By using the Core 2 Temperature Guide http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] ture-guide you can determine whether your temps are acurate, and calibrate them if they're not.
get more/better fan, get liquid cooling, get LN2 cooling, open your case always, lower your overclock, get a case with better airflow, reposition your current fans, use a program to give you a fake and lower reading so you feel better choose from one of these solutions.
itotallybelieveYOU, I am seriously trying to help TheLaughingMan, and there is another alternative which is proven to work. Please read the Core 2 Duo Temperature Guide: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] l#t1733737 Hope this helps,
