I've recently had troubles with my old CD/DVD drive, and decided it was time to get a new one. I installed it like in the manual, and have the pins in the right order, but when I turn the computer on the drive opens. I shut the drive, but it just opens again. I checked to see if the front panel was hitting the button, but that isn't the case. Is there anything I should check for, or does it need to be returned. It is a Sony DRU-840A. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Nevermind. Found out it was the decorative cover on the end of the drawer. Wasn't clearing the housing of the drive, so then the drive didn't see the drawer as closed.
