Hi all

To be clear with u all, IM A NOOB on AMD Processors & Motherboards
And im looking to build a new system for multitasking + gaming (mid-range)
also my budget will be around 700$
Also looking to try SLI thing which i havet tried it yet :)
and im looking to buy ( CPU + Motherboard + Graphics card )
and all the rest of parts i have them already and what i have is:
1- EVGA Geforce 7900GS ( 256-p2-n620-AR )
2- PSU 450W
3- Case
4- RAM DDR2
So, i have 3 simple question
(a) a good motherboard with SLI option for AMD
(b) AMD Processor (AM2 ) so i can fit my DDR2 RAM
(c) a Graphics card that i can pair with the one that i got, as the exact video card that i have is doesnt exist in the market anymore

Any help and suggestion would be much appreciated and thanks in advanced :)

SLI is rarely worth it. Get a single 8800GTS/320 or even a GTX, but you'll need a bigger PSU for the GTX.
What is the brand/model of PSU now?
If not overclocking, a 6000+ is the top of the line. If you are, I have read around here that the 5200+ overclocks a lot better.
What is the speed of your RAM? If it isn't DDR2-800, you'll have further limits.

SLI only works with identical video cards. If you want SLI you will have to either source another 7900GS or buy 2 new identical cards. So I would ignore SLI its not worth it.

A good midrange cpu is 5000x2. What country are you in?

m2nsli deluxe, m2n32sli deluxe..

get a x2 4000+ brisbane core and a zalman = 2.80ghz

and if you already have a 8800gtx, get another one and that should be your 700$ well spent.

oh and a 650w -700w psu. no need to go higher i think
