How to activate my windows xp on my laptop

I wish to reactivate my windows xp on my laptop with the real product keys as i reformatted my system. How do i change the product key.

You wish to activate with the REAL product key, but you ask how do you change the product key? You cannot 'change' the product key if that is what you are asking. If there is a problem activating the installation, call the 800 number that appears when trying to activate and a one time activation can be given by M$.
