Installing OS in overclocked PC

Is it safe to install OS in an overclocked PC or is it better to set it back to normal, install the OS and re-set the overclock settings?

It would be smart to set the BIOS to default for many reasons, one of which is there will be no MB or chipset, system drivers installed while you load windows.
