Just need a quick fix while I save for a new system.
Dell Dimension 8250 2.8 GHZ 728 MB
Defective 9700 Pro needs replacement.
Any cheapo card that may improve performance in an AGP only Board

This X1550 is probably the best card, it's less than $60 after rebate. It's on the same tier as the 9700Pro, so expect similar performance.

I would suggest you a GeForce 6600GT. They used to be like 20-30$ but I can't find them anymore sorry :S

There are X1650s out there for around $60, if you can get one of those, go for it. If you can find a Pro version of the X1650 for a close price, that offers better performance. Either X1650 should outperform anything so far listed easily.

My bro got a radeon 9500 for $50 Ca a while back like 4-5 months? I unlocked it to a 9700 not bad for $50.
