I'm looking to get a slim or small micro-atx case for a new computer I'm making.

The reason I want a smaller computer is because it's easier to move around, which I do a lot. I will only have a Core2Duo cpu, 1 sata HD, and 1 CD drive to power (no GPU) so I think I only need 250-300W. I don't plan to ever add components, so I just need 1x5.25 and 1x3.5.

I kind of like the Antec Minuet 300 but it's a bit pricey at $85 or so. Is there anything cheaper and you would recommend?

Either the TT Lanbox or the Apevia Q-Pack. I personally am dissapointed in the cooling performance of the TT Lanbox, but maybe that's because I need to lap the HS on my CPU. Then again, do NOT put a fanless card in a uATX case unless you have GOOD cooling. My XFX 7950GT hit 99C+, even with that additional 60mm fan for the Lanbox. Solution: bought 2 slot coolers and another fan to keep the overal system cooler, but still runs warm...

The Q-Pack, however, has a single 120mm fan and most likely provides much better cooling than 3 x 60mm fans (stock on Lanbox).

There is ALWAYS a drone.

The X-QPACK2, another $10, has a rear 120mm and a front 80. Mine runs very cool, and it has a 7900GS in it. The stock 500W PSU in it is Apevia, but it should be able to handle a modest system. Otherwise, it is a standard size. I'm using a Mushkin modular 550200 in mine, which is a little deeper than standard but fits.
Cooler height is very limited. I'm using the stock Intel, which keeps my e6750 at under 38C. You might use an orb-style cooler if you wanted, but that's about it.

There is ALWAYS a drone. Exactly where, or how many drones you will encounter may vary, but that there will be at least one will not.
