I have been considering buying a 650i SLI motherboard for a new computer I will build soon. The MSI P6N Platinum and the Gigabyte GA-N650SLI-DS4 have caught my eye. However, user reviews on Newegg say a lot of the MSI boards do not work when received. Another user also on Newegg said that the Gigabyte board does not work with the new Intel e6X50 chips until a bios update is performed (I want to get a e6750 and I don't have another processor to install in the motherboard to just perform a bios update.)
Out of the 650i SLI boards these two looked the most interesting, but I am not set either way. Should I go with the MSI, the Gigabyte, or a different 650i SLI motherboard? Or should I just look at a different type of motherboard all together (other than the 650i SLI)?
Thanks for the help and any posts are appreciated.
