Which gaming memory? Patriot vs OCZ

local shop had a sale on both of these on sale for $99 each. I elected to go with the OCZ at the time (that beautiful yet probably useless heatspreader probably won me over). anyways, now I am sort of having second thoughts.

which one should I have gotten for a gaming rig?

e4300 & ECS PT890T-A (plans to upgrade to GIGABYTE board very soon)
eVGA 8800 GTS
corsair 520w PSU
Seagate 500gb
(so far)

it may be overclocked at some point in time as well..

    *cosigns*
only because It what I have used for the last 5 years of my computer life. Great tech support and RMA service. All products lifetime warranty.
But I hear patriot isnt bad either. I just nevre used them before is all.
  3. I doesn't matter. Most if not all of any speed difference will be mitigated by the cpu cache. Get whichever one is the easiest to deal with.

    Also I'd buy mushkin
  4. I took Patriot but only cause ive got some no difference... yes Mushkin is good also.
