Vista compatibility is a non issue. The monitor you select will work with any OS including Vista.

There is not such thing as a vista compatible, vista capable, vista certified, vista incapable monitor. A monitor is a monitor is has nothing to do with Vista nor any other OSes. Do you ever seen a monitor that says "Linux Certified"?

Just get the one you like a be happy with it.

IMHO those Vista certified logos they put on are so they can jack up the price!

Basically, any monitor will work with any OS.

The only "compatibility" issue you may need to be concerned with will be for monitors that can pivot between landscape and portrait mode.

I believe monitors that can pivot, like my Planar PX191, comes with software specific to the OS. If you will not use the pivot feature or if your monitor cannot pivot, then this is a non-issue.
