Possible Hard Drive Problem

I was swapping out RAM in my dads computer and after we tried to reboot the computer and the Hard Drive doesn't sound like it's booting and we get a red light on the motherboard near the cable that is going to the Hard Drive

Hard Drive seems to be okay actually as I was able to put the Hard Drive in one of the other computers and it recognized it just fine

Not sure why the other PC won't work then

What is happening to it is that everything is booting but the PC just black screens

hmm....switched ram, and now no boot. Here's an idea, how 'bouts you put the old ram back in and see if it boots?
