When I turn my computer on my monitor is very dark no matter how I adjust the colors and the screen has the lines that jump around on it. Is this a monitor problem or a graphics card issue?

the easiest way would be for you to take your monitor and use it with another comp, perhaps just take it into work or school with you and test it there.

is the monitor a lcd or crt. Also, If you unplug the cable from the computer, the monitor will possibly display something like, check cable or no signal. If it does see how that screen looks. If there are no lines, and the display is bright, then it is a graphics card problem. If you have the same lines through the display, then your monitor is bad

Move all bower bards/ adapters away from the computer. Move any speakers away abit, move any subs away at least 2 feet. If your monitor has a dagauss button hit that, it worked for me.
