Hello,
I am looking into getting a new system. My current rig is:
mobo: ABIT NF7-S
CPU: Athlon XP3200
Graphics: ATI radeon 9800 pro
1GB RAM

I have been out of the pc scene for a couple years so I don't know what's hot and what's not. I want to update my system mainly for games.

I am looking at something like this:
mobo: Biostar K8M800MAM2
CPU: Athlon 64 x2 5200+
Graphics: ATI radeon x1650 pro
1GB DDR2 800MHz

Games I'd like to run are Ghost Recon and MS Flight Sim X. Also my budget for the mobo/cpu/RAM combo is $400.

What do you guys think of that setup and if there's anything to recommend?
Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.

Heres a list of possible Items for your new build

your build would be around $350? This one would be $700 but last you way longer and play alot more games.

great. I'll probably get that. One more thing. Win XP Pro shouldn't be any problem with that setup correct?
