Pick one. http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/0 [...] e_trouble/

I prefer the Optiarc myself. Maybe not the fastest, but very good overall.

Fastest for what? I got two drives in my PC and each is better at some things. The PX 810-SA rips DVDs 3 times faster than the LG GSA-H62N, but the LG burns disks faster.

read the reviews on CD f r e a k s.com

toms censors it... so do without the spaces.

currently the most talked about drive on the market is the samsung SH-S203B. I have one my self, and love it!.

Hey skittle, I was looking at that drive!! I burn tons, and worry my LG is eating it soon.

Would I have problems with the samsung in SATA if I was to reformat and reinstall XP on an A8N-E motherboard? Just worried that it has no native support. Otherwise I'll grab the IDE version for sure.
