Here is a link to the motherboard I want
http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicat [...] =A455-1091

I'm going to put a E6600 into it.

The thing I was wondering was: Is this a good motherboard? Does it have 16X PCI express? I couldn't find it on the site anywhere. It looks like it has all the features I want. I just dont know if it is 16x PCI express

I will be using it for gaming. I'll be putting a 8800gtx into it.

Yes, it's fine. However, the smartest thing is to get a P35-based motherboard. Look at GA-P35-DS3R or the Asus P5K models.

If you haven't bought the E6600 yet, I'd get a E6750 or Q6600 instead.

the reason why im going with this mobo is because its cheaper then the p35 or the 680i chip set ones. Is is 16x though?

Too bad it isn't cheaper. The Gigabyte P35 DS3R is $130 at newegg. Get anE6750 $220 newegg. Yes, it is 16x.

If only. Canada gets the shaft in everything. Our dollar is 5 since less then yours. Still the prices are so much cheaper for you guys. It would cost me 300+ to get P35-based motherboard or Asus P5K

Yes it is 16x.

NCIX has better prices, and so some local shops in my city.
