Hi...when my Dell Dimension 8300 was sent to me the NEC DVD+RW/CD RW was the Master and my DVD Samsung was the slave. There were some problems during installation and the tech had me change them. Now I am having problems burning cd's and I think this is the problem. How do I change the bios to change the Master to the NEC and the Slave to the Samsung as it was orginally

You don't have to change anything in the BIOS.

If your drives are IDE, just reverse the IDE connections on the back of the drives. Then you'll likely need to change the jumper setting accordingly. They should be set as master and slave or cable select and slave.

You really don't have to change the drives though. It won't effect how they burn. You may just need to enable recording on the drive in question.
