i was going to buy a LG h62n but the salesperson told me that it doesn't come in silver (my case color) so he told me that this one is a very good burner and comes in silver.
is this a good deal(i dont care about the money on this one)?

Lite-on is the OEM for amongst others Sony and HP DVD drives. So yes, they're a decent brand.

Don't have that particular drive but have had any number of Lite-On burners over the years and never had any problems. In fact just bought a Lite_On for my daughters computer today

I've owned several Lite-on drives, but recently switched to Pioneer cause all the Lite-on 18x drives I tried were loud and/or unreliable. Hope they fixed whatever QC problems they had because Plextor is the only other drive company that's drives will "test" burns - and at more than twice the cost of a Lite-on that isn't my first choice.
