I have my Q6600 G0 OCed to 3.0 GHz and the V-Core set to 1.37. My question is, How high have you been able to clock your q6600 (on air) and, what is a good voltage for the V-core voltage?

I have gone up to 3.42 on air with a V-Core set at ~ 1.4. I use a GIGABYTE P35 mobo and leave the voltage settings on auto it does a very good job. It leaves me with a temp of around 70C when under a load.

If your thinking about serious overclocking get a zalman, or a watercooler. There is a guide on overclocking the Q6600 at speed-geek.net you might find it helpful.

Good luck with your overclock.

What memory did you use? I have the same board, but DDR2-800, and can't go higher then 3GHZ because of this damn ram multiplier of 2.5 (minimum)...
