If any better suggestions or comments, they are all welcome. Trying to get the same quality product but for the least prices so that this wish list can be bought @ 1000$ instead of 1200$, mostly because of taxes it's this high from 1000$

I'm only going to over clock it to 3.1Ghz(To match and exceed the QX6850 @ Stock for bragging rights)

I'd get more than just 1GB of memory, at least 2GB, even if you have to get lower speed memory to keep within your budget

Hmm... You're right, The more memory that my computer usually uses more memory than it has available, so I guess ill benefit from more memory than faster speed. but problem is that 2GB(even slowest) cost about 25$ more @ 667mhz. But won't the memory clock affect my Over clocking Divider @ 3Ghz -3.2Ghz ? .

Updated list

-Crucial Ballistix Tracer Dual Channel 1024MB PC8000 DDR2 1000MHz Memory (2 x 512MB) (0.5 lbs)

-ATI X1950Pro PCI-Express 256Mb

-Ultra Grid ATX Mid-Tower Case with Clear Side, Front USB, Audio Ports and Ultra XVS-Series 700-Watt Power Supply (30 lbs)

-Seagate / Barracuda 7200.10 / 500GB / 7200 / 16MB / Serial ATA-300 / OEM / Hard Drive (1 lbs)

-OCZ Ultra 5+ Silver Thermal Compound (0.1 lbs)

-ThermalTake Golden Orb II / Socket 939/754/775 / Copper Core / CPU Cooling Fan (2 lbs)

-MSI P35 Platinum Intel P35 Socket 775 ATX Motherboard / Audio / CrossFire Ready / PCI Express / Gigabit LAN / S/PDIF / USB 2.0 & Firewire / Serial ATA / RAID (3.8 lbs)

I took the 8600 GT XXX out an replaced it with a ATI X1950Pro (For the same price) it seems to be almost 1.5 Times better on scores on TOMS charts. I'm only an occasional Gamer but when i do game i want all the EYE CANDY and Flaw-less performance So everything maxed out and tweaked to the limit's are usually my habit :??:

Why even get a Quad if you are only getting 1 gig of memory and a 8600 GT? Your Quad would be a waste when paired with that POS video card and small amount of RAM.
Get a better Video card (8800gts), 2 gigs of memory (ddr2 800 Cl4) and a E4500,E6420, or E6550. I guarantee you will get better performance. I would also pass on the Ultra PSU and go with a better brand (Seasonic, Corsair, Zippy, Enermax)
Bragging rights are worthless when all you have is a good CPU and junk componets.

The x1950pro is a little better but not much.

I Replaced it with a ATI X1950Pro (As updated above)
and am looking @2 GiG OCZ 2048MB Dual Channel PC5400 DDR2(Only 15$ more @ some other store)

The ULTRA PSU is a pretty good brand some people would even dare say that it's been flirting with Top-tier PSU's lately. It's bundled with a Ultra Aluminum Case, so it seems like a pretty good deal and @ 700Watts it's seems better than Good for now.

Okay, i'll scrape together a little more money for low-latency DDR2 800 instead.
I mean why cheap out on Memory(the most replaced component in my computers)

The 1950pro is better than the 8600GTS by a margin, Even if the GTS is overclocked i can always overclock the PRO eh?

Cheaper ram tends to be better than expensive ram nowadays. that Crucial is probably 50% more expensive than low-cost ram that is better than it. Look for a cheaper ddr2-800 (2x1gb) option and spend the rest towards CPU/vid card
