Help setting up raid0.

So i recieved my new drives, however after i messed around with the raid setup abit i tryed to install vista but it gave me several blue screens, so now i deleted the old array i made and making a new.

I can choose betwen striped, striped mirror, mirrored, raid 5 and in the stripe block i can choose between several numbers and optimal as its on now. I want the drives combined as one if possible, i think the previous setup was both striped.

help is greatly Appreciated!.

RAID 0 is a striped array, splitting the data across 2 drives. If you put 2 -250 gig drives into a striped RAID 0 array, your OS will see them as 1 drive with 500 gig. (or actually around 470 or so gig)

I made it striped and i tryed to install vista, vista installs but after second reboot it says windows failed to start cause my hardware was changed, if i say start normally it gives a blue screen, wich dissapears right after it appear.

I can get into safemode, but not normal mode.

Lol after entered safemode and restarted (i ddidnt touch anything in safemode) it entered normal mode, i hope i wont see more blue screens.

Gald you got it working, not too sure about Vista, I am still using XP.
