More Information

I just put together my first computer and am trying to load the drivers for the SATA RAID controllers on my Gigabyte P35 DS3P Rev. 2.O MB. I have the drivers on a floppy but can't get the Windows XP Home to read them from the FDD after hitting F6. It says it can't find the txtsetup.oem or something to that effect. Well, in order for me to load my drivers for RAID I need to make a startup disk with CD-ROM support. I guess the FDD needs to make the computer read the MB DVD to get the list of drivers it needs? Never done this before and the MB manual doesn't give any directions. I don't have another FDD on another computer to make one so I was wondering if someone could give me a quick tutorial on making a startup disk with CD support without an OS installed.

Here's the link to the manual for my motherboard to help out. Thanks. http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Product [...] uctID=2625
