Wireless connection

i have problems getting both of my computers to connect to my wireless router. One connects just fine, but the other will never stay connected for more than 10 seconds, and often takes forever while acquiring network address before then connecting for the mentioned max of approx 10 seconds. Any idea as to how I can fix this???

Use the computer that's working to identify the router's wireless security type (WPA, WEP) and passphrase and apply those to the computer which will not connect.

If no joy try addressing the router's user interface (read the router manual if that means nothing) and temporarily disabling wireless security until the problem computer has a reliable connection.


Other than that it may be wireless interference or range issues (try other channels, move router or antennas.
