Have developed a code 39 error on my Compro t300 under Vista 64 bit.
Was working flawlessly until the other day when I restarted the PC and it started trying to install it again under found new hardware.
Now doesn't work under Media Centre and in Device Manager get this Message

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available.

Check for solutions is a waste of time and has not helped
Googling produced answers to a similar problem in XP with Cd drives but nothing else

Have uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted.... the usual to no effect

Any help much appreciated

Have had a bit of a dig and found that code 39 mean vista will not load/start "untrusted" driver.
This prob means that its not verified or isnt a signed driver.
I dont have vista so dont know but do you have the option of turning of the verification in the settings? pretty sure you can in XP.
There may be a patch on the manufacturers website i found one for a diff tv tunner.
