My Thinkpad T30 came with a CD-ROM/DVD-ROM drive which still works, but I wud like to replace it with a DVD burner. simple yes/no will do, but a bit more details wud be much better.

wud this drive work on my T30? if yes, do I need to do any elaborate changes or modifications on the drive for it to work?
