Corsair HX Series CMPSU-520HX 520W

OR

Corsair HX Series CMPSU-620HX 620W

My Rig:
E6550 2.33GHz FSB1333MHz 4M
GIGABYTE GA-P35C-DS3R FSB1333MHz
Corsair TWIN2X2048-6400C4 2GB Kit DDR2-800 XMS2-6400
XFX PVT80GGHF9 GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB DDR3
Western Digital Caviar SE 16 WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200RPM 16MB

I like to overclock this to 1600FSB.

Also, for future, I will be upgrading CPU to the new Quad, memory to DDR3, and adding another/same HD for raid. I will not be doing any SLI.

Greatly appreciate!

I have 3 of the 520s, two mounted with eVga 8800 GTS 640 video cards, E6600s, and each case with 2 gigs of RAM. The third is mounted in an old P4 3.2 Ghz box with an X1950 Pro video card and 2 gig of RAM. I got the third one last week from Buy.com with a $20 rebate for a total "drive out" price of $80. Probably the best deal now is from ZZF, $105 -$10 rebate + free shipping. My 520s have a lot of head room, have dead-on accurate voltage regulation, and run cool and quiet (even under extended online gaming stress). Given your current system specs and what you plan on upgrading to, a 520 should work just fine.

What he said :) Future CPUs will probably consume about the same as today's, but GPUs will want more and more. I recommended the 620HX based on this. Of course, it depends on when you intend to upgrade next. If it's in 5 years never mind, get the 520HX, you'll want a totally new PC by then anyway.

OK I'm thinking on going with 600, now it's down to these two. which would be better for supporting quad, or the new quad later on.
