Nope, there are plenty of other cards in the X-Fi line. This one has actually been discontinued. I'm somewhat surprised you can even find it anywhere.
And X-Fi's would sound MUCH better than your Audigy 1. My Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty sounds better than my Audigy 2ZS. Better quality, better clarity...just overall better. As long as you get something better than the Xtreme Audio (which isn't even an X-Fi), they're all pretty good.
