Deleting a folder i

Hello,
I can not delete a folder in D: drive .when i'm trying to a message says"cannot delete and64:Access is denied.
Make sure the disk is not full or writ-protected and that the file is not currently in use..
Why this?

Is the D: drive a hard disk or a CD drive?
