If you have a floppy bootdisk, you can use it to boot up and then load a bios update off a second floppy. You can still find floppy drives for $10-12 or less, new and used. Or you can call MSI and have them send you a bios chip. They might not even charge you for it. I've talked to their rma dept before. They were most helpful in expediting my rma's.
Have u tryed clearing the cmos? I had a problem with this before, i have a k8n 939 skt board and it worked for me!
If you look in ya mobo manual, it states which is the cmos jumper.
