Hey, I can't believe that I don't know the answer to this question. I just bought a Sapphire X1950Pro 512MB PCI-E card. Do I have to use Sapphire's drivers or can I also go to ATI's site and use theirs? Are they the same exact driver?

You might want to use the driver the card came with for initial install as that driver is test proven to work properly. Then update to the most current driver for your card from the ATI/AMD site. To answer your question, Sapphire's driver and the ATI/AMD Catalyst drivers are the same driver as in 'versions'.

Use ATI's drivers.

I have always been of the opinion that the latest drivers from the ati website are your best option they will give you the most upto date version as you dont know how long ago the card was boxed and usually at least the best performance.
