File sharing on internet

I'm looking for some kind of cloud/internet drive service, where I can UPLOAD/DOWNLOAD/DELETE/OVERWRITE some files (*.txt or MS Office *.docx *.xlsx *.pptx) store them there for some time (indefinitely or for a finite time like a year), but permit anyone else to DOWNLOAD (but ONLY DOWNLOAD) those files.

It would be preferable if the people (who aren't me) who need to download the files did not have to have an account on that service or a special email domain (i.e., gmail for Google Docs), but that's a secondary (and probably unrealistic) goal.

I think www.filefront.com would be better for you as it provides unlimited on line storage facility.

Thanks, but they seem to have been replaced by http://www.gamefront.com/ with very restrictive ("somebody better download this often") deletion-avoidance policies.

Looks like dropbox may be the way to go.
