#1 Norton 360 is trash get avast or something better.
#2 use Mozilla sometime safe the IE
#3 might need to reformat the pc with a fresh copy of windows
and #4 if all else fails there is always a tool called a hammer
You might want to try iobit Advanced windows care

Yup!
Norton 360 is garbage! You do have abundant of choice like Avast, Kaspersky, AVG, Panda, etc.
Use Mozillas Firefox or Opera, they are better!
For extra protection you can use also Secretmaker, Spywaredoctor, Sygatefirewall, etc.

I use Avast! on all the comptuers in my house (4) its pretty desent, doesnt impact performance hardly at all. has stopped quite a few bad things on downloads being put onto my system, uses about 1mb of ram and 1% of CPU power while just idle and when its scanning n high uses about 100 - 200mb's of ram and 20 - 30% of my CPU power.

Does well.

1.) I think I speak for everyone here when I say, we simply cannot understand you.

2.) Just format your damn PC and reinstall windows, that should take care of it.

i hope english is not your first language

cause if it is, you have more problems than just your computer not working.

can't understand a word.

have you hear of something called "punctuation"?

This forum format sucks. Bring back the old one.

I love a post criticizing punctuation that starts off with either a run-on sentence or just plain forgetfulness.

Either way that sentence needs a period or comma, and then an apostrophe in front of that 'cause.

To the OP; another vote for Avast and AVG.

Sounds like a conflict with the newest IE updates and some add on tool.
I vote against norton, and for almost anything else (but I use AVG).

Go back one restore point to get IE working, purge the add-ons, then update windows again. If that doesn't work, either reformat and start over or use the hammer.

hmmmm........Formatt it and fresh install the windows. Back up your datas first. And watch what you'll going to put inside the HDD.

There is an old saying from my great great great grandparents.
If the Computer is ''Hang'', and you want to shut it down? then push ctrl-alt-del. If that didn't work out, then push the power button. Still didn't work? Unplug it out of all electricity sources. The computer was still on??????? Run for your live.......!!!
