There are a lot of rumors about the development and release of nVidia's next generation chipsets for AMD and Intel, codenamed C72 and C73. The C73 is supposed to be the top of the line successor to the 680i series, and is rumored to have support for 1333/1600MHz FSB for Wolfdale and Yorkfield. My question is, as far as I understand, Yorkfield was never set to support 1600MHz FSB, and we were only going to see this supported on the workstation Penryn chips. Does anyone know anything about the possibility of Yorkfield supporting a 1600MHz FSB?
Thanks, I had read that already... all it says is that all initial Yorkfield launch chips will be 1333MHz FSB, and says that all Yorkfield will SUPPORT 1333MHz FSB, but doesn't say whether or not later Yorkfield models with higher clock speeds will ALSO support the 1600MHz FSB, in addition to 1333MHz FSB...
