memory for asua p5k

i plan to purchase the asus p5k-vm uatx mobo which ram should i get ? My CPU will be a 2.66 duo 2 core (1333FSB). should i go for the 1066 mhz ram ??? will i notice a difference in gaming ? i plan to oc later on, but for now i want to get a nice stable system for gfx and media going. thank you
