Is it possible to use ram rated at 1066mhz with a cpu that has a FSB of 800 mhz?
If yes, would the 1066 give a better perfomance boost? would it be able to over clock the cpu easier?

An 800Mhz CPU maybe not so good, but I think he's talking about a CPU with an 800Mhz FSB, which could be the dual core E4x00 series, or E21x0 series. Those 800Mhz FSB CPU's are OC'ing well over 3Ghz, on air, pretty easily.

Anyway, yes you can use 1066mhz ram, you might benefit from all 1066mhz using memory multipliers, and it could make OC'ing the CPU easier because you can go all the way to 2132Mhz :ouch: effective FSB at 1:1 without even worrying about stressing your memory. Now in this case, whether 1066Mhz gives you any benefit over 800Mhz ram is questionable. At 1:1 the 800Mhz ram will accomodate a 100% OC of an 800Mhz CPU, which is plenty for most people, so the 1066Mhz may just be overkill.
