I'm planning on buying this hardware after i read this http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/09/12/pentium_dual_core/page4.html

Pentium Dual Core E2160 oc @3.2ghz
XFX GeForce 8600 GTS XXX
GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3P
CRUCIAL TECHNOLOGY BL2KIT12864AA1065 Ballistix 2GB PC2-8500 (DDR2-1066) DDR2

my question is about this quote on $89 Pentium Dual Core that Runs at 3.2 GHz "You have to pay attention to the motherboard, because what you want is a model that allows you to alter the system speed manually, modifying the memory speed settings and at least the CPU and memory voltage. While the FSB speed shouldn't be a problem in our scenario, where we increase the FSB800 stock speed to FSB1333 and above, memory speed is an issue. As soon as you exceed DDR2-800 speed, you might have to increase the memory voltage or even use overclocking memory designed for high clock speeds. However, let's not forget that we're dealing with a $89 processor, which is why we don't want to fuss with expensive cooling or enthusiast memory" i'm new at this but what i want to know is if the above set up is going to work with the processor oc @ 3.2ghz without buying the memory it was tested on Patriot PDC1G3200 XBLK
2x 1024 MB DDR2-800 (CL 4-4-4-12 2T)?

i hope i asked the right question and thank you for your help!

should work on any ram as far as I know, even cheap stuff... just the better brand name stuff will take better to heat stress, and have more give.
