HP Officejet 7310 Scan Tool

Hello,
Trouble interfacing printer office jet 7310 all in one with my windows xp. Can't scan but can print, copy, fax. Message in printer says "you need to install or run hp sofware for this feature". Have installed HP basic feature sofware driver from cd drive as succesfully still no scan. Seems like sofware interface problem. Please advise?

Try this diagnostic utility to repair the scan feature (assuming drivers were installed).

If the repair tool doesn't work, try redownloading the basic software here.
