Hi,

I have the following card. It’s a BFG 8800GTS 640mb OC2. The card has 2 DVI connectors. Right now I’m using an older monitor so I’m hooking up using a VGA adapter. Eventually down the road I’ll get a DVI cable.

My question is this. If I’m only using one monitor does it matter which connector I’m using on the back of the card?

You will probably see a "1" and a "2" engraved on the backplate. Use "1", although the card ought to sense where a single monitor is attached.
