Acer 15" monitor (all details from reverse of monitor on label) -
Model no.: JD156H
FCC ID: AMPHD156X
Serial no.: 0733005272

This monitor went down on me recently. I replaced it with a new Hansol 710D monitor (which I'm happy w/, btw). But it would be nice to fix the Acer monitor.

The problem started-out by a little flickering during the week - I thought nothing of it, "probably just the heat" I thought! Anyhow, the monitor just died when I was using my computer - display died and gave me a flashing amber/standby light with a little clicking coming from within the depths of the beast herself. Now, the thing just won't power-up at all!

Any suggestions anybody, or is it one for the skip?
