I have a abit ip35 pro running a q6600 g0 on air tower 120, at 3.4 ghz 378 X 9 my voltage is 1.39 running stable in prime temps around low to mid 50's, when I up it to 400X9 for 3.6 ghz 1.42 voltage 1 core will always fail couple minutes in, the temps were around mid 60's at load , any suggestion to get 3.6 without 1 failing? how high can the voltage to the cpu go for the q6600? thanks for your time.

Try 8x450 instead of 9x400. Set VCore to 1.325V. Your mobo may require a bump in NB, but mine did not. I'm using a GB P35C-DS3R v1.1 and have not had to adjust any other voltage or settings. Using a TR U120X with SFF12F HSF combo, temps are topping out in the mid-50's using P95 "Torture Test."
