Hello. I recently bought a Western Digital Caviar SE16 250GB and i have a question. From what i read this hard drive has a transfer speed between 50-60 mb/s from a partition to another something like that. But when I made some tests, it showed an average of 20 mb/s. What should i do in this case. Pls help me. I have an Asus m2v-ms se motherboard, and Windows XP.

If you were writing from one partition on that drive to another partition on that same drive, that's probably about right. Transfer speed measurements are made from one drive to another - not internally.
