hi all

a few questions, im trying to build a new system consisting of >

ASUS P5B Socket 775 Core 2 ready P965 chipset onboard audio ATX
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66GHz 1333FSB
Asus 7600GS 512MB DDR2

i see that the cpu is supported by the latest bios but can i be sure that the mobo will have it,or is it possible to flash it with the cpu on the mobo?
also im no gamer apart from sof2 so only really require a budget graphics card that is silent.
any help plz its urgent as i need to order

i would go for a p35 motherboard instead they can be had pretty cheap now

I think the P35 equivalent of the P5B is the P5K.
Great board, but also take a look at the Gigabyte DS3R or DS3P

GA-P35-S3L or GA-P35-DS3R. The first one is cheaper but only supports 4 SATA devices.

hi, thx for the replie, i think ill go for the p35 motherboard looks more of what i need and hopefully should support the cpu out of the box
