Hijacked by harddrive diagnostic

Hello,
My computer keeps showing a screen that says hard drive diagnostic and makes my background black. It will not let me take it off or exit out and keeps telling me all these kinds of errors and for money will fix them. I can no longer find my task manager and my computer now just ramdomly shuts down without warning! This cant be right, please advise!

Hi - Same problem here. I went into Control Panel, and under Programs select Change startup programs. Then you'll see two Harddrive programs listed. I disabled them and then deleted them. Seems to have worked so far. I have a good firewall and antivirus software (Webroot) and this virus still got through. I also ran Malwarebyte, Superantispyware, and Spybot, all of which are freeware, but none detected this. Good luck!
