How can I solve error 1722

Hello,
I have troubles getting rid of a corrupted Java JRE6.21. Uninstalling it from controlpanel is not possible. I removed the Java Directory manually under Program Files and hoped that my registry cleaner Advanced SystemCare would do the rest, but it did not. The "emty" icon in the Control panel does still exist and trying to dovnload and install the new Java JRE6.22 is stopping giving error 1722.
I hope someone out there can help me. I am pretty stuck with a quite good Lenovo labtop but no java.

1. To fix the error, you have to make sure you have the latest version of InstallShield established your computer. If not, then update it to solve the error.
2. If the installment is unable to locate the required files, try to use the Windows' 'Search' feature to look for the files and offer the location to the installation process.
3. You must logon as administrative before you do the installation.
4. If you are installing over a network, please ensure that you have full access right to the network location where you are running the setup.
