I recently bought an e6750 cooled with a Tuniq Tower, Gigabyte 965p-ds3 (rev 3.3), with 2GB of Corsair XMS ddr2-6400. The problem that im having is that I overclock the processor to 3.2~3.4 using 400 or so FSB and upping the Vcore from 1.35 to 1.38'ish ( i dont remember the exact numbers) and the computer boots up fine, I have normal idle temps of about ~28C using CoreTemp so I dont think its a temperature problem. But today I went into CPU-Z and noticed that my BIOS reset itself to the default of 333FSB. I dont know what else could be causing the switch back. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The overclock you applied failed. Your BIOS reset to default.
