Hi, and please pardon my ignorance but it there a software that can log in your email account/s without opening your browser? and does can log many accounts at the same time?

Both Thunderbird and Windows Live Mail are free. You need not login to your email using browser each time you want to check your email. And yes, you can configure more than one email account on each Applications.
How to configure :
Thunderbird download.
Windows Live Mail download.
Outlook.
